Community Volunteers
VC’s online searchable database is available to any person interested in volunteering in the Greater Baltimore area. More than 3,500 unique visitors trafficking this website in one month. This is a great promotional tool!
VC’s volunteer e-newsletter is published monthly and highlights new volunteer opportunities and community events. The distribution list is more than 2,000 people. A second e-announcement is distributed mid-month to promote more opportunities.
Targeted emails are sent out to volunteers daily, based on their self-designated skill and interest areas.
Volunteer Café events are held every other month. Click here for the schedule of events. These social events give volunteers an overview of VC and how to get involved in the Greater Baltimore community. Civic Solutions, a corporate volunteer e-newsletter for business professionals is distributed to employees of our 45+ business members. This highlights various volunteer opportunities. This is a great place to highlight skilled volunteer opportunities (i.e.: graphic designers, attorneys, accountants).
