For Volunteers

MLK Day 2008

Make it a day ON, not a day OFF!

Business Volunteers Unlimited’s Do Something Series provides opportunities for you and other citizens to learn about current social issues in our community and develop ways for you to do something to make a difference.

Dr. Omar Ali, professor of history at Towson University will speak about Civic Engagement and the roles Americans played in making dramatic social changes in our country. You will also get to meet several great local nonprofits that may have your ideal volunteer opportunity through a Speed Volunteering experience.

Lunch will be provided.
