Skills Bank: Share Your Expertise!

This is a great way to use your skills in a meaningful way!  Volunteer Central’s Skills Bank is a pool of volunteers and volunteer opportunities. Skilled volunteer opportunities refer to a volunteer job requiring education or training in a particular area.

Volunteer Café: Learn About Volunteer Opportunities in the Baltimore Area

Learn more about Volunteer Central and the opportunities that are available to volunteers in the Baltimore area through this interactive orientation. This is also a great time to get to know other community-minded people. Volunteer Cafés are every other month during the first week of the month. Click here for upcoming dates.

Special Events: Done-In-A-Day Service Projects

Volunteer Central holds quarterly large-scale volunteer projects where large groups, individuals, businesses and families are welcome to participate. These activities will be promoted on our website and in our e-newsletter. Events include:

  • MLK Day of Service (January)
  • Spring into Volunteering (April/May)
  • Make a Difference Day (October)
  • ELF Night (December)

Other special events are hosted by or promoted by VC throughout the year. Events are a great way to meet others, make a difference and feel good!

Group & Team Volunteering

Contact us for assistance in locating group-friendly volunteer projects. For business members, we will assist you with arranging and planning this event. For others, we will offer assistance in identifying meaningful projects.

Family & Youth Volunteering
