Get Your Feet Wet with Volunteering!
Start with one of the following group volunteer projects:

Baking Night at Moveable Feast:

Put your baking skills to work! Join a small group of volunteers in baking sweet treats for clients living with HIV/AIDS and other life threatening illnesses. Baking Night takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month from 6-9pm. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required. View the calendar here to see upcoming dates.

Warehouse Work Night at The Loading Dock:

Join the team! Help The Loading Dock set up displays, arrange merchandise and prepare the warehouse (full of reduced home improvement and building materials) for next day operations. Warehouse Work Nights take place every 3rd Wednesday from 6-8pm. Pre-registration is required. View the calendar here to see upcoming dates.

Food Sorting Night at The Maryland Food Bank:

Sorting can’t be done alone, be a part of the crew! Every 4th Wednesday, the Maryland Food Bank has a group night where volunteers come to help sort and package food to be distributed to agencies that serve those in need. View the calendar here to see upcoming dates.
